The coronavirus has dramatically cut traffic on Angeles Crest Highway but it took a fire estimated to be about seven miles north of La Cañada to shut it down completely.

Here’s the police roadblock, a crew from KTLA and some of the flow of fire-fighting vehicles — said by one onlooker to number about thirty between eight and nine o’clock this morning.
And this is what it looked like from the Flintridge Hills.
