The team also prepared more than 18,000 cases for the Assessment Appeals Board, helping property owners dispute assessments.
Business property staff made over 275,000 site visits to local businesses and processed 122,000 business property statements, ensuring accurate valuation of fixtures, machinery, equipment, and other business assets.
In total, the 2025 Assessment Roll includes 2,398,007 taxable real property parcels, 160,367 business property assessments, 32,733 boats, and 3,037 aircraft, culminating in a net taxable value exceeding $2.176 trillion.
This annual process underpins the collection of over $20 billion in property taxes that support schools, first responders, healthcare, and infrastructure throughout Los Angeles County.
