In response to growing concerns about changes to immigration policy at the federal level, Assemblymember Mike Fong’s office has received numerous requests for resources to help individuals navigate these changes.

Recognizing the importance of informing and protecting immigrant communities, Assemblymember Fong is partnering with Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL) to offer virtual Know Your Rights trainings.
The virtual trainings, which aim to educate immigrants on their constitutional rights—regardless of their immigration status—will provide crucial information in light of recent policy shifts.
The first training session will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 4:00 pm, and will be conducted in English via Zoom. Trainings in Mandarin and Spanish are also planned and will be announced in the near future.
For those unable to attend the live sessions, the trainings will also be available through livestreams on Asm. Mike Fong’s Facebook and YouTube pages, with no registration required to view.
Assemblymember Fong emphasizes the importance of understanding legal protections and urges anyone in need of guidance to take advantage of these accessible resources.
