Centered around the Altadena African American Historic Resources Survey conducted by the County of Los Angeles, the event will explore the deep-rooted contributions of Black residents to the town’s growth and development.
The presentation will feature speakers Steven McCall, Carrie Chasteen, and Veronica Jones, who will share key findings from the survey and offer expert insights into Altadena’s rich and diverse past. Through their discussion, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical significance of the Black community in Altadena.
