The Altadena Library District announced that its facilities will be open on Friday, Jan. 30, to provide expanded support and services for the local community.

Library staff will be onsite throughout the day to assist patrons with reference needs and general library services, including helping individuals locate information related to immigration rights and available resources.
In its statement, the district emphasized its commitment to inclusivity and solidarity, noting that it “stands with and supports our immigrant neighbors and everyone in our beautiful, diverse community.” The initiative reflects the library’s ongoing role as a trusted space for learning, connection, and community support.
