Rebuilding efforts in Altadena and Pasadena continue at a steady pace as communities recover from recent wildfires, according to the latest data from Los Angeles County and the City of Pasadena.

As of mid-November 2025, Los Angeles County reports a substantial volume of rebuilding activity in Altadena:
- Applications Received: 2,262
- Zoning Reviews Cleared: 1,884
- Structures with Full Building Plans Received: 1,794
- Permits Issued (New Residential – Single Family and ADU): 569
- Average Turnaround Time: 86 business days
County officials note that most applications are tied directly to wildfire recovery, underscoring the scale of reconstruction underway. Despite high demand, applications continue to be processed and permits issued at a steady pace.

The City of Pasadena has reported the following progress in its recovery efforts:
- Total Red-Tagged Properties: 145
- ROE/Opt-Out Not Submitted: 145
- Rebuild Applications Received: 54
- Applications in Review: 38
- Plan Reviews Approved: 3
- Permits Issued: 12
- Finaled Projects: 1
