In collaboration with Republic Services, the City of Alhambra hosts a bi-annual Alhambra Recycles Event to promote environmental sustainability and community engagement through proper disposal and recycling of materials.

Free services include plastic bottle & aluminum can recycling, in-person and on-site document shredding, a compost giveaway (must supply your own container), and electronic waste disposal. Household hazardous waste, batteries, and light bulbs are prohibited.

All participants must be in a vehicle. The first 140 cars to enter at Hellman Entrance will receive a free Fosselman’s Ice Cream scoop voucher.
