Pasadena City Commissioner Aaron Milam filed to run for the District 2 City Council seat.

Commissioner Milam is running for District 2 to succeed Felicia Williams who is seeking a seat in the State Assembly.
A graduate of La Salle High School, Aaron Milam earned his BS in Engineering at the University of San Diego and his MS in Engineering at Loyola Marymount University. He’s a Senior Design Engineer, College Baseball Coach, Summer Collegiate Baseball General Manager, and a Non-Profit Executive Director. Milam is a former Commissioner of the Pasadena Recreation and Parks Commission and currently sits on the Board of the Rose Bowl Operating Company. He’s also the Executive Director of the non-profit Arroyo Seco Baseball and General Manager of the Arroyo Seco Saints in the California Collegiate League. He lives in Pasadena with his wife, Andrea, and his two children Oliver and Bailey.
The other declared candidate for the seat is former City Manager of Santa Monica and former Pasadena Mayor, Rick Cole. District 2 is bounded by Lake, Bell, Mountain, Chester, Colorado, Vista, Villa, Palo Verde, Nelson, Craig, Casa Grande and Martelo. Election Day is next year, Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
