On Saturday, September 13, Assemblymember Mike Fong (D-Alhambra) hosted the third annual Outstanding Educators Award in Assembly District 49, celebrating 14 exemplary teachers from across the district.

      By News Desk

The event, which took place in the heart of the district, recognized educators who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their students, from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade.

Each year, during Teacher Appreciation Month in May, Assembly District 49 invites students, parents, and community members to nominate teachers who have made significant impacts on their classrooms and beyond. This year, more than 100 nominations were submitted, with 14 educators selected for their outstanding contributions to education.
