Pasadena Playhouse, the official State Theater of California and recent recipient of the 2023 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is gearing up for a festive, community-wide celebration this holiday season.

      By News Desk

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the iconic theater will host Jingle & Mingle, a joyful event that will transform the Playhouse campus into a holiday wonderland filled with music, performances, crafts, and family-friendly fun.

The celebration will feature two ticketed holiday performances on the Playhouse Mainstage: a 1:00 pm matinee and a 5:00 pm evening show. Both performances will highlight the Pasadena community, showcasing local talent through a blend of music, storytelling, and special guest appearances, as well as performances from the Playhouse’s educational programs.

“The vision behind Jingle & Mingle is about more than just a holiday event, it’s a chance to bring our community together in support of the arts,” said Danny Feldman, Producing Artistic Director of Pasadena Playhouse. “When we made the bold decision to repurchase this theater, it wasn’t just about restoring a historic building, it was about creating a space where everyone could experience the magic of theater.”

In addition to the performances, guests of all ages are invited to enjoy the Holiday Open House from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The free event will feature behind-the-scenes tours, holiday crafts, photo opportunities under the Playhouse’s grand Christmas tree, and more. A highlight of the day will be a grand finale tree-lighting and snow moment in the historic Courtyard following the 5:00 pm performance.

Tickets for the Holiday Concerts are priced at $15 per person ($10 for Playhouse members), and each ticket includes access to the free Holiday Open House. While the Open House itself is free, RSVPs are required for entry. Separate tickets must be purchased for the 1:00 pm or 5:00 Ppm performances.

Jingle & Mingle promises to be a festive and inclusive celebration of community, family, and the arts, welcoming attendees of all ages to embrace the joy of the holiday season at one of the country’s most beloved theaters.
