The Vassar Club of Greater Los Angeles will host a spring celebration for those affected by the Eaton Fire.
This event is non-denominational, non-partisan, 100% volunteer-based, and commercial-free.
Highlights will include:
- Subject matter experts to advise on recovery and the next steps in the rebuilding process. Featuring the Army Corp, FEMA, SBA, architects, general contractors, insurance agents, realtors, and wellness.
- Make-and-take crafts for kids of all ages. Special workshop with Side Street Projects.
- Free food thanks to World Central Kitchen and dessert courtesy of Pie ‘n Burger.
- 88.5FM The SoCal Sound broadcasting live.
- Various donations (including air purifiers with HEPA filters, sheet sets, towel sets, PPE, shelf-stable groceries, books, and more) to distribute to impacted residents.
- Appearance by the Altadena Library District’s Curiosity Connection Van.
- Both the Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff’s Departments will be on site to mix and mingle.
