The spirit of rivalry, tradition, and community pride will once again take center stage this Halloween as John Muir High School and Pasadena High School face off in the 78th annual Turkey Tussle at the Rose Bowl.

The Turkey Tussle is more than just a football game, it’s a celebration of sportsmanship, school spirit, and community unity. Fans will pack the stands as the Muir Mustangs and PHS Bulldogs battle for the coveted Victory Bell, a trophy with a storied past that once rang from a Santa Fe train.

Over the decades, this matchup has gained national recognition, even earning features on national television as one of the country’s greatest high school football rivalries.

Attendees are encouraged to bring family, friends, and plenty of school pride. The Rose Bowl will operate as a cashless venue, and only clear bags will be permitted for entry.

      Tickets are available online:

      • PHS General Admission.
      • PHS Students Admission.
      • Muir General Admission.
      • Muir Students Admission.
