One of Labor Day Weekend’s biggest blues splash of the summer takes place at the 1st Annual MADCatfish Blues Festival at Santa Anita Race Track.

L.A.’s Original “Gentleman of Jazz,” legendary jazz & radio personality James Janisse of KJMJRadio.com is Master of Ceremonies. The line-up of talent includes the legend Barbara Morrison and “L.A.’s Blues Virtuoso, Ray Bailey with a special tribute to B.B. King; “L.A.’s Best Latin Blues Band,” The Delgado Brothers; Leslie Baker, the Scorch Sisters, Sunnie Paxson & Mark Vincent All-Star Band, Cornelius Mims & The kNOW it Allz, Yu Ooka and introducing 10-year old pianist Richard Cameron Lovely. Featured guest vocalists include “Jazz Living Legend” awardee Margauret Love; actor Jay Jackson (Scandal, Parks & Recreation) and Kenyatta Mackey aka “BabyDoll”.

At 7pm on Saturday, the fun moves inside into the beautiful Clubhouse for a foot-stompin’ After-Hours Comedy & Blues Juke Joint co-produced by Busby Promotions. Actor Ernest L. Thomas will take the mic to introduce some of nation’s hottest comics, including King Kedar, Edwonda White and Keith Morris. Blues diva Margauret Love will provide the musical exclamation point for the evening. KJMJRadio.com will be recording segments of the show & interviews for later broadcast.
