The Altadena Sheriff’s Station is reminding local residents about the ongoing Home Check Program, which offers property surveillance while homeowners are away.

Those currently enrolled in the program do not need to take any action, as the Sheriff’s Department will continue monitoring properties for security purposes.
However, for residents who have returned home and wish to discontinue the service, the Sheriff’s Department requests that they contact the program directly. To opt out, individuals should send an email to altadenahomecheck@lasd.org. Upon receiving the request, the department will promptly remove the resident from the program and cease any further checks on their property.
