The Pasadena-based Aztec dance group Yankuititl will dedicate its ancient dance traditions to the community on Saturday, July 25, from 4:30 to 8:30 pm, as part of Pasadena Parks in the Dark.

In addition to performances honoring the memories and traditions of their Aztec ancestors, the group will offer participants the opportunity to learn traditional Aztec dance steps, movements, and drum rhythms.
Lessons begin with basic movements before progressing to choreographed dance sequences, all accompanied by live Aztec drumming.
The event is open to all ages and promises to be a highlight of the summer for families throughout the community.
