Would you like to get some light exercise and relieve stress in the new year?
By January Nordman
The rains energized our plants. Sprouts abound. We even have a few early poppy blossoms.
Join us this Sunday (8:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m.) as we appreciate the season. We will be planting penstemon, sages, and Catalina snap dragon, as well as some veggies. We will check our rain barrel, and find gratitude in a short mediation. We will also harvest green & herbs.
This week we will immerse in the garden to discover the secrets the bees offer us. We will practice meditation, awareness exercises, and build a mason bee house for the garden. This an appropriate activity for ages 5 and up.
We will have a brief garden meeting at 12:00 noon to discuss the garden needs, volunteers, special projects, and future workshops. We will also plan a more-in -depth planning meeting for February (date TBD).
Many thanks to all who help our garden grow!
