      • 9:30 am – 12:30 pm: Climate Change Workshop
        Join a 3-hour collaborative Climate Fresk workshop that will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action (@ Alliance Française de Pasadena, Pasadena).
      • 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Assemblymember Mike Fong’s Free College & Career Fair
        This event is a great opportunity for students and community members to meet with college representatives and career experts to learn more about education and career opportunities (@ East Los Angeles College, Monterey Park).

        Expect to find an array of handmade goods from several artistic genres such as original art, ceramics, jewelry, and more (@  Green Street from Los Robles to El Molino, Pasadena).
      • 11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Cuban Dance Movement Workshop with BODYTRAFFIC
        Joan Rodriguez, dancer and choreographer for the acclaimed Los Angeles-based contemporary dance company BODYTRAFFIC, will lead a workshop about movement fundamentals of Latin and Afro Cuban dance styles that promote exercise and balance (@ Pasadena Senior Center, Pasadena).
      • 11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Free Woodworking Classes with Side Street Projects
        Open to ages 5-15, students will learn about art, design, and engineering by building wooden projects using only raw materials, hand tools, and imagination (@ Side Street Projects, Altadena).

        “Celebrating Nature,” an exhibition of mixed media works on paper by artist Karen Steen will be presented by the South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC) (@ Fremont Centre Properties, South Pasadena).

      • 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm: Music @The Playhouse: TAIKOPROJECT + Gamelan Merdu Kumala
        Los Angeles-based TAIKOPROJECT, the first American taiko group to win the prestigious Tokyo International Taiko Contest, partners with Gamelan Merdu Kumala, a Southern California-based gamelan ensemble, for two back-to-back afternoon and evening performances at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm (@ Sierra Madre Playhouse, Sierra Madre).
