        The “Let’s Grow Alhambra” program opens a new garden (@ Alhambra Public Library, Alhambra).
      • 10:00 am – 6:00 pm: Peace Chain Project
        The community is invited to participate by stopping by the library to create their own chain link containing a personal message or peace symbol (@ Villa Parke Community Center, Pasadena).
      • 11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Glendale Clothing Swap
        Bring up to ten clean and gently used clothing items (@ Grandview Library, Glendale).
      • 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Photographer Tōyō Miyatake, Presented by Alan Miyatake
        Alan Miyatake, grandson of Toyo Miyatake who famously photographed the Manzanar Interment camp, will give a presentation about the incredible life and photographs of Toyo (@ Lamanda Park Branch Library, Pasadena).
      • 8:00 pm: Low Lily Trio Performs at Caltech on March 2
        The Vermont-based trio Low Lily will perform roots-steeped music with a distinctive pop sparkle (@ Caltech – Beckman Auditorium, Pasadena).
