It’s all about the outdoors this weekend in the San Gabriel Valley: jazz, rock ’n’ roll, and classical music; garden tours; family movies; stargazing; farmers’ markets; math fair games; a world premiere from local Black filmmakers, and a special classic car rally to wrap it all up.

10:00 am – 11:00 am: Sierra Madre Senior Hawaiian & Polynesian Dance Class. Join instructor Barbara Dempsey as she leads you in the art of Hula. Bring a lei, flower skirt, or just your desire to dance. (@Memorial Park, Sierra Madre)

10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Rose Bowl Stadium Tour. 8:30 am – 12:30 pm: Ecotone Landscapes: A Resilient Garden Tour. Join Studio Petrichor and Poly/Ana from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm, for a morning exploring real landscapes across Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre that are quietly redefining resilience. (@Meetup location confirmed with reservation)

12:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Monrovia Music Festival. Get inspired at the free Monrovia Music Fest with live music, artisan market of 5000 sq ft, a craft beer garden, food trucks, kid zone, and of course, community connection. (Monrovia Library Park)

1:15 pm – 4:00 pm: Hemmings Great Race Grand Finale at Pasadena City Hall.
