Friday, July 10, 2026

8:15 am – 9:45 am: Friday (Tech) Coffee Meetup. Monthly free meetup cosponsored by CALE at Caltech, highlighting the intersection of business and technology. This month’s guest speaker Bill Beverly, co-founder of Evolectric and science/tech business consultant, shares “what it actually takes to build and deploy electric vehicle and battery systems that don’t just prototype—but perform in the field.” (@Foundr Space, Pasadena)

5:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Sunset Music Series at Kidspace Children’s Museum. Each event features interactive multicultural performances, themed art activities, and extended museum hours, allowing visitors to explore the museum during the cooler evening hours. (@Kidspace Children’s Museum, Pasadena)

7:00 pm: Alhambra Summer Concerts and Movies in the Park. The C Band plays a free Latin music concert in the park, launching the Friday & Saturday night series. (@Alhambra Park Bandshell)

7:00 pm: Pasadena Movies in the Park. Gabby’s Dollhouse will play outdoors at Villa Parke, a fun family film about saving a girl’s treasured dollhouse from the clutches of an odd neighborhood recluse. Starring the voices of Kristen Wiig, Gloria Estefan and Laila Lockhart Kraner. (Villa Parke, Pasadena)

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Caltech Tai Chi Club. Learn and practice Hao-style tai chi chuan. Additional practice includes Yang-style tai chi, kung fu, and other bare-hand and weapon forms. Free event. (@Hameetman Center, Caltech, Pasadena)

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: DBSA San Gabriel Valley Support Alliance. The San Gabriel Valley Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance helps attendees fight isolation with support groups, which can change the gene expression that triggers Bipolar Disorder and Depression. (@See event description for location, Pasadena)

7:30 pm – 9:30 pm: Old Pasadena Sunset Sessions at One Colorado Courtyard. The Healing Gems takes the stage for a free evening (with RSVP) of fun and delicious food & libations on offer. Healing Gems is a genre-blending six-piece band that reimagines exotica, lounge, international jazz, vintage video game sounds, and cinematic soundtracks into a nostalgic, dreamlike sound. 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Community Legal Clinic at Robinson Community Center. The Community Legal Clinic, co-sponsored by All Saints Church, is open the second Saturday of every month and is staffed by experienced attorneys assisting with a variety of legal issues, including housing, family law, bankruptcy/consumer debt, probate, civil matters, public benefits, expungements, and more. (@Jackie Robinson Community Center, Pasadena)

3:00 pm – 6:00 pm: South Pasadena Arts Council Exhibit Opening: The Creative Life. 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Award-Winning “Remaining Native” Documentary Screening. The only remaining southern California screening of this SXSW award-winning documentary comes to Old Town Pasadena, featuring tribal teen athlete Ku Stevens on the Yerington Paiute Reservation in Nevada as he competes without a coach or athletic system to support his dream of racing for track-and-field powerhouse University of Oregon. 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: “Convergence: Contemporary Artists of Armenian Descent” Exhibit.
