        Join instructor Barbara Dempsey as she leads you in the art of Hula (@ Memorial Park, Sierra Madre).

      • 8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Pasadena Arbor Day
        Public Works Forestry staff will demonstrate how to plant a new tree and discuss basic tree care tips. After which, volunteers will be assigned to a staff planting supervisor and will complete the tree plantings throughout the park (@ Victory Park Recreation Center, Pasadena).
      • 8:30 am – 12:30 pm: Pasadena Farmers’ Market – Saturday
        Shop for fresh, nutritious, locally-grown fruits and vegetables (@ Victory Park, Pasadena).
      • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Earth Day Arroyo Seco Clean Up
        Come clean up the Arroyo Seco and celebrate Earth Day (@ Lower Arroyo Park, Pasadena).
      • 9:00 am – 3:00 pm: South Pas Flea
        From vintage clothing to handmade crafts, there’s something for everyone (@ South Pas Flea, South Pasadena).
      • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: South Pasadena Nature Park Volunteer Day
        Pull, bash, curse, chop, and behead weeds, pick up litter, and enjoy the park (@ Nature Park, South Pasadena).
      • 9:30 am – 1:30 pm: San Gabriel River Earth Day Celebration
        Help work towards this year theme ‘Planet vs. Plastics’ and bring an old t-shirt to turn into a new tote bag (@ Oaks Picnic Area, East Fork San Gabriel River, Azusa).
      • 11:00 am – 4:00 pm: Pasadena Earth Day
        This family fun event will have a plant sale, live music, kids crafts, face painters, a bouncy house, craft booths, food and drinks, and more (@ Standard Design Group Nurseries, Pasadena).
      • 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm: South Pasadena Repair Café
        For the newbie, Repair Café is a wonderful free community event that brings together those with a need and those who can fill that need (@ South Pasadena Public Library Community Room, South Pasadena).
      • 2:00 pm: Donut Décor Showdown with Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris & Pasadena Library Director Tim McDonald
        Teams will use plain donuts, food decorations, and basic supplies to create freestanding structures or designs that will be judged to name the winners (@ Jefferson Branch Library, Pasadena).
      • 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Southern CA Haiku Study Group (on Zoom)
        Haiku poetry workshop and newcomers are always welcome (@ Virtual Event).
      • 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Altadena Earth Day Celebration
        Celebrate the earth, savor delicious vegan food, and enjoy live music (@ Solvang Ranch, Altadena).
      • 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Rose Bowl Rosé Festival
        Guests will enjoy unlimited pours of carefully curated rosés presented by JNSQ Wines (@ Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena).

        Explore the first comprehensive display of Francisco de Goya’s four major print series on the West Coast as Norton Simon Museum celebrates the opening of the exhibition I Saw It: Francisco de Goya, Printmaker (@ Norton Simon Museum, Pasadena).

        Experience Paris in Pasadena No. 2, featuring Vicki Ray and Junko Ueno Garrett (@ First United Methodist Church, Pasadena).
      • 7:00 pm: Gabrielino High School Presents “Once Upon a Mattress”
        This magical musical boasts a student cast of over 60 performers and musicians from throughout the San Gabriel Unified School District and will feature both professional orchestra tracks and live music played by the 18-piece GHS Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Melissa Romero (@ Gabrielino High School, San Gabriel).
