Dancers from around the Southland gathered around the yagura and danced the traditional Obon Odori dances. Bingo and silent auction added to the fun, as well as kids games that filled the day with excitement and food booths that satisfied the eclectic taste buds.

Various martial arts performances were scheduled throughout the day with evening Taiko performances being the center of the attention on both days.
