Families are facing long summer days this weekend, and a hot kid is often a cranky kid. Fortunately, several free and inexpensive splash pads across the area are open and ready to help children cool off while providing a safe and welcoming place to play.

The shared goal of these public water play areas is simple: to ensure families can head home soggy and happy.
La Pintoresca Splash Pad
45 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena
Weekend Hours: 9:00 am – 7:30 pm
Alhambra Park Water Playground
500 N. Palm Ave., Alhambra
Hours: Daily, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Garvey Park
3233 Kelburn Ave., Rosemead
Weekend Hours: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Admission: $1 per child, $2 per adult.
