Each year, volunteers help count people experiencing homelessness living on the streets of Pasadena during one night in the last ten days of January.
Volunteers will be sent in small teams to an assigned zone on the night of January 23 (8:00 – 10:00 pm) and the morning of January 24 (6:00 – 8:00 am) to help count and administer a survey to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. The same teams go out together in the evening and the morning.

Volunteer registration will remain open until January 5th, 2024. Volunteers can sign up at pasadenapartnership.org. Volunteers should be 18+ and are asked to prepare for the Count by attending an online orientation on January 16, 2024.
The annual homeless count helps inform the state of homelessness in Pasadena, helps advocate for vital community resources, and engages directly with neighbors experiencing homelessness. This year cold weather kits will be handed out during the survey.
Volunteers are the backbone of ensuring the Count is a success and is carried out effectively. For questions, contact info@pasadenapartnership.org.
