The City of Monterey Park invites residents of all ages to participate in the upcoming Vision Zero Safety Workshop on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Langley Center Friendship Room.

This interactive community workshop is an opportunity to learn more about the City’s Vision Zero initiative, to connect with neighbors and to share ideas and priorities for improving traffic and pedestrian safety throughout Monterey Park.
Community input will help guide future safety improvements and create safer streets for everyone who lives, works and travels in the city. Community members, business owners, workers, and visitors alike are invited to join this family-friendly event and share their experiences.
During this interactive workshop, you will:
- Learn about Vision Zero and the City’s approach to improving street safety
- Share your experiences and priorities for safer streets
- Participate in hands-on activities and discussions with neighbors
Your input will help shape the strategies and priorities of the Vision Zero Action Plan and guide future safety improvements across Monterey Park.
