A breakfast burrito chain, Wake and Late, ground floor lease marks the leasing of 75% of 525 Colorado, the historic Pasadena Star-News Building located at 525 E. Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena.

      By Kate Bartlett

Greenbridge Investment Partners confirms that 525 Colorado is emerging as a key player in the continuously growing Pasadena dining and retail market.

The location of the 84,000 square foot building is ideal in the center of the financial district with nearby Pasadena Playhouse, Pasadena Civic Center, Paseo Colorado and other restaurant locations, including fourth floor tenant, Last Crumb, a cookie delivery company.

The building also is attractive to tenants and customers because it retains much of its original stunning exterior and interior 1925 architecture by American architect Josepf Blick, including terra cotta stronework, ceilings and large open spaces.

Billionaires, hedge fund owners and local imposters have a powerful hold on the information that reaches the public. Colorado Boulevard stands to serve the public interest – not profit motives.

While fairness guides everything we do, we know there is a right and a wrong position in the fight against racism and climate crisis while supporting reproductive rights and social justice. We provide a fresh perspective on local politics – one so often missing from so-called ‘local’ journalism.

Glad to see that the building has a brighter future than the Star News itself.
