Alhambra police officers responded to a reported robbery at a 7-Eleven on Chapel Avenue after two suspects allegedly entered the store with a simulated weapon, jumped over the counter and took the cash register drawer before fleeing in a getaway vehicle.

About 30 minutes later, officers received a Flock notification identifying the suspect vehicle near Garfield Avenue and Glendon Way. Officers initiated a pursuit on westbound Interstate 10.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle was involved in a traffic collision.
During the investigation, officers learned that the suspects were also connected to two additional robberies that occurred before the Alhambra incident.
Both suspects, juveniles from Los Angeles, were taken into custody.
