The 24th Annual “Tribute,” a free community event, will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The family-friendly event will offer wellness programs, including access to COVID-19 vaccines and testing kits, pet adoptions, and veterinary services. Visuals will include military vehicles, equipment displays, and exhibitor booths.
Representatives from multiple organizations will be present, including the V.A., Cal Vet, Los Angeles County Department of Military Veterans Affairs, and the Public Defender’s office. Veterans are encouraged to bring copies of their DD214 discharge forms as personnel from these agencies will offer on-site assistance with claims, benefits, and records.
A tribute ceremony will be held at 11:00 am in recognition of outstanding community heroes.
Dignitaries expected to attend will include Congresswoman Judy Chu, Assemblymember Mike Fong, Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Arcadia Mayor Pro Tem Paul Cheng, Arcadia City Councilmembers April Verlato and Michael Danielson, Arcadia City Clerk Gene Glasco, California Veterans Board Chairman Hugh Crooks, Civilian Aid to the Secretary of the Army Mario Guerra and City Council members from Monrovia, and Duarte.
