The Pasadena Police Department is celebrating a major milestone for three of its newest officers following their successful graduation from the Orange County Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy.

Under the leadership of Eugene Harris, Officers Jason Ha, Austin Emley, and Jose Barraza completed the academy as members of Basic Academy Class 269, a demanding program designed to prepare recruits for the responsibilities and challenges of modern policing.
Department officials said the accomplishment reflects months of rigorous training, discipline, and determination. The academy requires recruits to demonstrate physical endurance, academic achievement, and a strong commitment to public service and community safety.
The department praised the officers for their perseverance and dedication throughout the training process as they prepare to transition into active duty assignments.
As the new officers begin their careers with the department, officials said they will continue to uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, and service that define the Pasadena Police Department.
