A Pre-Independence-Day, “Thanks USA,” Celebration, will take place at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse on June 25th, 2022.

This event is organized by San Gabriel Lions Club, co-hosted by I-Chinese Political Action Committee (IAPAC), Asian American Advocacy Alliance (AAAA) and Hope Center.
Members and volunteers of this event are first generation immigrants. In this Asia American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community “Thanks USA” is one of the most popular events by honoring the Veterans, flag raising and free health fair.
The purpose of “Thanks USA” is to highlight how immigrants appreciate the United States for providing opportunities and equality for everyone, including Chinese Americans.
“Walk for Health” will be the first program in the morning, with free, limited -edition T-shirts to be distributed, while supplies last. There will be the Health Fair, as well as an art drawing contest, and drawings for mystery gift boxes, gas gift cards and more. Raffle tickets will be sold for the prize of a used Nissan car, valued at approximately $15,000.
Congressional, State and local elected officials will also be invited to join the “Thanks USA” event!
