Tail Town Cats Hosts Opening for Art Show “Under the Sea”
Tail Town Cats, a feline lounge that encourages the adoption of rescue cats, is issuing a double invitation: one for artists to submit work to its latest community art show, and another for the public to attend a reception featuring selected pieces on Saturday, July 11, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Art lovers and cat enthusiasts are invited to an opening night reception for the latest exhibition at Pasadena’s Tail Town Cat Lounge.
Tail Town Cats is exploring new depths and diving into the unknown, from ocean life and deep-sea exploration to oceanic designs, PURRmaids, pirates, tropical waters, and the curious cats you might encounter when following the tide. “Under the Sea” challenges artists to create feline-centric works inspired by seascapes and ocean themes. Entries are due July 9 and may be submitted online.
At the reception, guests can meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and get first access to original artwork, with proceeds supporting Tail Town’s mission.
The exhibition runs through August 30, 2026, and can be viewed at Tail Town Cats, 1780 E Washington Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91104. Visitors are encouraged to book appointments through the Tail Town Cats website.
