If you live or work in Pasadena, you might’ve noticed the “No Parking” signs dotting the CicLAvia-Pasadena route and adjacent streets.
By Wafic Khalil
These signs serve the purpose of cautioning all motorists to observe all regular and temporary parking restrictions during the event.
If you happen to ignore the signs, or not see them, your parked vehicle on the route will be towed (during restricted times) to the Elks Lodge parking lot, located at 400 W. Colorado Blvd.
The good news
Towed vehicles will be available for pick-up for free until 4 p.m. the day of the event. Just call (626) 744-4400 (on Event Day only) for towing information.
The bad news
After 4 p.m., any unclaimed towed vehicle will be moved to a local tow yard and storage charges will apply. Those charges can be expensive (in the hundreds).
Public garages and lots will remain open for local business access on Sunday. Just be informed, and click here to learn more about what’s going in town on Sunday.
