Looking for festive fun this Sunday? December 7 brings a full lineup of holiday events across Pasadena, Altadena, Alhambra, Highland Park, Monrovia, and San Marino.

      By News Desk

From sparkling light displays and historic home tours to parades, markets, and community caroling, here’s your guide to what’s happening.

      – All Day: Pasadena’s Upper Hastings Ranch Holiday Lights

      Upper Hastings Ranch
Hastings Ranch Drive and Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena

One of Pasadena’s most beloved holiday traditions continues as Upper Hastings Ranch lights up for the season. Dating back to 1951—when neighbors first lined their driveways with luminarias to guide Santa—the annual display now features elaborate parkway scenes and stunning block-by-block themes. Bundle up, grab some cocoa, and stroll or drive through this glowing neighborhood spectacle.

      – 8:00 am– 3:00 pm: Pasadena City College Flea Market

      Pasadena City College
      1570 East Colorado Blvd., Pasadena

Treasure hunters and vintage lovers unite! The first-Sunday PCC Flea Market brings hundreds of vendors offering antiques, collectibles, vinyl records, home goods, and quirky finds. Expect everything from high-end estate pieces to rummage-style bargains. Admission is free and parking is easy—come early for the best picks.

      – 8:30 am – 1:00 pm: Alhambra Certified Farmers Market

      100 South Second Street
      Alhambra

Shop fresh and affordable produce from local growers at this weekly community market hosted on Main and Second Street. Beyond fruits and vegetables, you’ll find honey, herbs, baked goods, and other artisanal offerings—perfect for Sunday meal prep or grabbing snacks before heading to other holiday happenings.

      – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: “Radical Histories” at The Huntington

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens
      San Marino

Explore over six decades of Chicano printmaking in this powerful exhibition on loan from the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Featuring 60 vibrant prints from more than 40 artists and collectives, Radical Histories highlights themes of resistance, cultural identity, and community empowerment. A must-see for art lovers and history enthusiasts.

      – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm: Arlington Garden Holiday Bazaar

      Arlington Garden
      275 Arlington Drive, Pasadena

Find sustainable, locally crafted gifts at this outdoor holiday bazaar set within Pasadena’s only dedicated public garden. Shop handmade jewelry, eco-friendly home goods, organic skincare, plants, gardening tools, and, of course, Arlington Garden’s signature sweet orange marmalade. A perfect spot for conscious holiday shopping.

      – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Pasadena Museum of History Holiday Open House

      Pasadena Museum of History
      470 W. Walnut St., Pasadena

Step into an Edwardian winter wonderland as the historic Fenyes Mansion opens its doors for a festive, free afternoon event. Enjoy mini self-guided tours, seasonal décor, family-friendly activities, and unique gift shopping. A gentle blend of history and holiday cheer for all ages.

      – 1:00 pm: Highland Park 80th Christmas Parade

      Highland Park
      N. Figueroa from Avenue 60 to Avenue 50

Celebrate a milestone anniversary as Highland Park hosts its 80th annual Christmas Parade, one of Northeast LA’s longest-running traditions. Expect marching bands, local businesses, community groups, classic cars, performers, and lots of neighborhood pride. Arrive early to secure a good viewing spot!

      – 2:00 pm: Caroling with the San Gabriel Valley Choral Company

      St. Luke’s Episcopal Church
      122 South California Avenue, Monrovia

Join the SGVCC for a free community caroling event inside the acoustically rich sanctuary of St. Luke’s. Sing along to holiday favorites in a warm, welcoming environment designed to bring neighbors together through music.

      – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Altadena Christmas Tree Giveaway

      Eaton Fire Collaboratory
      540 W. Woodbury Rd, Altadena

Altadena residents are invited to pick up a free Christmas tree at this annual community giveaway. Trees are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis—perfect for households looking to brighten the season without the financial strain.
