Before LOOK, the location was home to Krikorian Theatres and Studio Movie Grill.

According to Starlight Cinemas, the company hopes to open the Monrovia theater in late 2026. It is expected to offer the same features and policies available at the company’s other locations, including reserved seating, Bargain Days and the free Starlight Rewards membership program.

The company described the planned theater as another destination for moviegoers and invited the community to celebrate the announcement.
