Tom Clausen
all these memories
built up over the years
standing as they do
until some storm
takes them all away
Tom Clausen is a life-long resident of Ithaca, NY. He is retired from a job in Mann Library at Cornell University but still maintains a daily haiku feature at the library home page. Tom has been interested in short poetic forms since the late 1980’s. He hikes and explores everywhere he goes, from the woods near his home to the mountains of Peru, and shares his discoveries with his friends.

Adam Blankenship
world
full of doom gloom
sadness
a simple stack
a little happinesspagoda
precariously perched
piled perfection
pity pulverized
Adam Blankenship of Tacoma Washington, is a poet and artist who brings rock-stacking into the realm of art adding further layers of metaphor.

Sharon Hawley
strong calloused hands
stacking rocks for Bolton Hall
he chinks with stones
then pebbles too
til hardly any mortar shows
Sharon Hawley Sharon Hawley is a poet adventurer who travels the world
to unusual places in off-seasons, and has given hundreds of poetic and photographic programs about her trips. She especially loves and studies the geology of the landscapes she visits. Adam is a great artist and today enjoyed his poems too. His creations always push even a dumb like me to write. Also enjoyed Tom and Sharon’s poems.
Again and again there is some new talents ! I do know and like her photography, I am glad to see Sharon Hawley’s poem about stone ,
wonderful to see these collaborations, Friends!!
Every time I stumble upon an earlier-built stone-construct
by other hands than mine I use their pebbles as skipping stones
and bridge one span at a time America to Russia.
