The City of South Pasadena will host its third community meeting to gather public input on the Huntington Drive and Fremont Avenue Corridor Improvements Project. The meeting is set for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Library Community Room at 1115 El Centro Street.

City officials say the upcoming session will build on feedback collected during two earlier meetings held on February 23 and March 5, 2026. Those initial discussions generated substantial community input on early design concepts and key considerations for the project’s development.
At the March 31 meeting, staff will present updated design concepts that have been refined in response to public comments. These revisions include new examples of proposed intersection designs. The event will begin with an overview presentation followed by a Q&A session. Attendees will then have the opportunity to visit display tables and provide additional feedback on each concept.
About the Project
The Fremont Avenue corridor extends from Columbia Street to Alhambra Road, while the Huntington Drive corridor runs from Alhambra Road to Garfield Avenue.
Funded by Metro, the project aims to close gaps in the city’s active transportation network. Planned improvements include new bicycle facilities, upgraded sidewalks, and enhanced traffic signals. According to the City, these changes are intended to improve safety, accessibility, and multimodal connectivity for all users.
