What could make a book more interactive?

A wee little explosion, says the South Pasadena Senior Center, which is helping the city’s youngest and oldest residents create their very own explosion books on July 7 and 14 (both Tuesdays) from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
For the uninitiated, explosion books are small, personalized books that “explode” into a beautiful series of square and triangular patterns when opened. During the workshop, participants will learn folding techniques, explore the art of bookmaking, and create an explosion book to take home.
No prior art or bookmaking experience is necessary, and all supplies will be provided.
