In celebration of Pride Month, the South Pasadena Public Library will host a Book to Art Program featuring The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics by Olivia Waite.

Patrons are invited to read the book and participate in a celestial watercolor project and book discussion on Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 pm in the Library Community Room located at 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena, CA. Attendees are encouraged, but not required to read The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics. This program is intended for adult audiences. All supplies will be provided.
The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics is a Regency romance novel about two women who fall in unlikely love. Catherine St. Day looks forward to quiet widowhood. However, when Lucy Muchelney, a young, brilliant scientist, arrives at her door she is intrigued by Lucy and begins to question everything she believes about herself. This book is intended for adult audiences and contains some sexuality.
