South Pasadena Police “Coffee with a Cop” (Photo – SPPD)
The South Pasadena Police Department is inviting community members to join local officers for the return of its popular Coffee with a Cop event, a gathering designed to encourage open conversations and strengthen connections between residents and law enforcement.

The event will take place on Wednesday, August 19, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Twohey’s Restaurant, located at 424 South Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena, CA 91030.
Coffee with a Cop provides residents with the opportunity to meet officers in a relaxed and welcoming environment outside of typical police interactions. Community members are encouraged to sit down with local officers, enjoy a cup of coffee, ask questions, share concerns, and have conversations about topics that matter to them.
The South Pasadena Police Department said the event is intended to create a space where residents and officers can get to know one another, helping build stronger relationships within the community.
The free event is open to all community members, and attendees will be provided with coffee and refreshments. Residents are encouraged to stop by, connect with local officers, and take part in this opportunity for conversation and community engagement.
