On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 10:09 pm, the South Pasadena Police Department received an alert from the department’s Automated License Plate Reader system of a stolen 1999 white Honda CRV entering the City of South Pasadena.

      By News Desk

Officers located the Honda in the 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue and verified that the vehicle was stolen.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and took the driver, 32- year-old Virginia Lopez of Glendora, into custody without incident. Lopez  was transported  and  booked  into the  Alhambra  City  Jail.  Due  to the countywide Zero Bail Policy in effect, she was released after booking.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is urged to call the South Pasadena Police Department at 626-403-7297. If you would like to provide an anonymous tip, you may call “Crime Stoppers” at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
