The South Pasadena Library at 1100 Oxley Street will be closed on Friday, August 28, 2026, to complete staff training.

Library staff apologized for any inconvenience caused by the one-day closure. The library will reopen on Saturday, August 29, with normal hours.
During the closure, curbside book drops will remain open for returns. Due dates for all materials and hold items will be extended to prevent penalties resulting from the closure.
Regular South Pasadena Public Library Hours
- Monday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Tuesday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Friday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Sunday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
