The South Pasadena Library is opening its doors for a vital cause as it hosts a community blood drive in its Library Community Room.

      By News Desk

Organized in partnership with the American Red Cross, the event invites residents to roll up their sleeves and help save lives through blood donation.

Donors can schedule their life-saving appointments by visiting redcrossblood.org and entering the sponsor code: SOPASLIB. To make the process even smoother, participants are encouraged to visit RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass on the day of the drive. There, they can complete their pre-donation reading and health history questions in advance, potentially saving up to 15 minutes during their visit.

The South Pasadena Library continues to serve as a hub for civic engagement and community wellness, and this blood drive is another example of its commitment to public service. Every donation can make a difference, and in many cases, save a life.

Mark your calendar, book your appointment, and be a hero in your own neighborhood.
