South Pasadena Fire Crews Contain Meridian Avenue Residential Fire

At approximately 3:30 pm on Monday, August 31, 2026, the South Pasadena Fire Department, assisted by fire crews from San Marino, Pasadena, Alhambra, and Los Angeles, responded to a reported residential fire in the 2000 block of Meridian Avenue.

Arriving units found a fire outside the residence that was spreading into the structure. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to neighboring properties.

All occupants safely evacuated the home. No injuries were reported.
