Los Angeles County Board Chair and First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis said she was heartbroken by the death of Franklin High School student Xavier Nungarary and offered condolences to his family, friends, classmates and the school community.

      By News Desk

In a statement, Solis called reports about the circumstances of Nungarary’s death, including concerns about bullying, “deeply troubling” and said they must be taken seriously.

Solis said every student deserves to feel safe at school and that she would continue to follow the investigation and support those affected.
