Slurpee Run Ends in Arrests After Stolen Vehicle Stop in Alhambra

What started as a routine patrol turned into a major bust for Alhambra Police officers this week after a traffic stop revealed a stolen vehicle, a loaded firearm, and multiple arrests.

Officers were in the area of Valley Boulevard and Fremont Avenue when they spotted a vehicle reported stolen. After conducting a traffic stop, officers searched the car and discovered a loaded firearm concealed beneath the front passenger seat.

The driver, identified as Daniela Rodriguez of Alhambra, told officers she was on her way to a local 7-Eleven and claimed she had borrowed the car from a friend. However, she was unable to provide any identifying information about this alleged friend.

Further investigation led to the arrest of two additional individuals in the vehicle: Eddie Gandarilla of San Gabriel and Michael Roman of Alhambra. Police noted that one of the suspects was a convicted felon and was found in possession of an EBT card that did not belong to him.

All three suspects were arrested and booked at Alhambra Police Department Jail.
