Hosted by Caltech’s Office of Technology Transfer and Corporate Partnerships (OTTCP), the third annual Bill Gross Business Plan Competition returns on Thursday, April 16, 3:30–6:30 pm at the Chen Neuroscience Research Building in Pasadena.
The vibe? “Think Shark Tank—but make it Caltech.”
More than 70 student teams submitted proposals; only the top 10 advanced to the finals. Each team gets just five minutes to deliver a knockout elevator pitch to a panel of industry judges. They’re competing for $60K in prizes:
- $30K for first place
- $20K for second
- $10K for third
And you get a say. Cheer on the finalists and vote to crown this year’s Fan Favorite.
