        Small Businesses Are Counting on You

      Shop small shop indieMore than 25 small independent businesses will participate in the Playhouse District Association’s Playhouse Shop Small, Shop Indie on Saturday, November 28th. The event invites shoppers to enjoy extraordinary savings and holiday treats as well as the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a GoPro camera!

      When business shoppers shop independent, the community is reinvigorated with every purchase. Local businesses are vital to the Pasadena community. Shop Small, Shop Indie will kick-start the sales during the holiday season and expose businesses to new customers.

      Erlinda Romo, Playhouse District Executive Director says:

      Playhouse District Shop Small, Shop Indie is a ‘win/ win’. Shoppers will find the perfect unique gift for their friends and family, enjoy holiday treats, receive special discounts, and take a chance to win prizes via the Shop Small, Shop Indie participation card or Snap & Share! giveaway on Instagram.

      What to expect?

      • See your favorite authors at work as they become booksellers for the day at Vroman’s Bookstore.
      • Le Muse Coffee & Wine will be offering a free cup of coffee with a pastry purchase, in addition to other retailers in the Playhouse District neighborhood offering great event day savings.
      • Shoppers who visit 4 local participating businesses will be entered into a drawing for a GoPro camera.*
      • Shoppers are also encouraged to take a selfie or share a pic of their purchases at their favorite Playhouse District small business using the tag #shopsmallplayhouse to be entered to win gift cards & other prizes!

      *No purchases are necessary to enter into the drawing.
