Twenty years after opening its first ReStore (then called Builders Surplus Store, closed in 2014) on Fair Oaks Blvd, San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity returned to the city of Pasadena.

      By News Desk

San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity opened its third and largest ReStore on May 20, 2023, at 32 N. Sierra Madre Blvd., in Pasadena.

Internationally known for utilizing funds raised by its ReStores to help more families build, rehabilitate and repair their homes, the new location will have several showrooms occupying both floors. Each room will feature gently used and brand-new donated items from the community and local companies, reselling items such as furniture, appliances, home decor and building materials at a fraction of the retail price. The ReStore’s selection of premium products (new items, competitively priced) such as Paint, Flooring, Rugs, Linens, Mattresses and Kitchen Cabinets are known for their quality.

Habitat ReStores rely on the generous donations of new and gently used household items, building supplies and furniture to help Habitat create homeownership opportunities. To arrange a pickup of a donation, call the ReStore donation coordinators at 626-387-6900 or email at ReStoreInfo@sgvhabitat.org.
