The Herald Christian Health Center is launching a free COVID-19 testing location for anyone with COVID-19 symptoms and all asymptomatic essential workers.

Those that are eligible include:
- Individuals who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
- Healthcare workers.
- Social workers.
- Grocery store workers.
- Restaurant workers.
- Food service employees.
- Seniors (65 and up).
- Patients with chronic diseases.
English, Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking staff
Located in the City of San Gabriel, the Herald Christian Health Clinic is also the only site in the West San Gabriel Valley community that is able to provide such testing with English, Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking staff. COVID-19 testing at the Herald Christian Health Center is free, does not require patients to have health insurance and is provided regardless of immigration status.
The test is a polymerase chain reaction test, the only test approved by the CDC and FDA for COVID-19. The test is a self-administered nasal swab, under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Results are reported to patients within 2-3 days.
