The public is invited to an in-person opportunity to meet and ask questions of the candidates for the three open San Gabriel City Council seats in the November 8th election.

The forum is sponsored by ColoradoBoulevard.net and will be moderated by the League of Women Voters- Pasadena Area (LWV-PA).
Questions for the candidates may be submitted prior to the forum by emailing them to sgccforum2022@gmail.com. Put SGCC forum in the subject line and include in the email your name, and indicate whether you are eligible to vote in the San Gabriel City Council election. Written questions will also be accepted from those present at the forum. All submissions will be screened and sorted by volunteers to ensure a range of topics and issues. Submitting a question does not guarantee it will be used during the forum.

The LWV is a nonpartisan political organization that promotes informed and active participation in government through citizen education and advocacy. The LWV never supports or opposes any political party or candidate but does establish positions on certain policy issues based on a member discussion and consensus process.
No candidate literature/paraphernalia will be displayed or distributed in the meeting room or on the webinar screen. This means that candidates and their supporters are asked not to wear any campaign badges, tee shirts, etc. during the forum.

You have described this forum as taking place on THURSDAY October 19th. However, 10/19 is actually a Wednesday. I’m assuming that the date is correct and not the day of the week. Am I correct?
